Northwest Demine

Northwest Demine is a group of active individuals joining together to support Cambodian Landmine Relief. We live and work in Seattle, Washington and believe in the importance of connecting our local communities to those in Cambodia. We are committed to raising financial support for landmine relief efforts so that the people of Cambodia will experience a peaceful future.

There are between 3 million and 10 million landmines and UXOs (unexploded ordinance) in Cambodia today. In June of 2008, a new all-Khmer Demining Non-Government Organization was established in the kingdom: Cambodian Self-Help Demining. CSHD will concentrate on clearing landmines and UXOs in low priority villages throughout the kingdom. You can help Aki Ra and CSHD make Cambodia safe for its people by donating to the work they do.

Demine Valentine 2009
